Pilot of Delayed Flight Buys Pizza For 150 Stranded Passengers

A plane full of passengers leaving from San Francisco was forced to make an emergency landing, delaying their arrival by seven hours.

One passenger said, “I had noticed that there were no flight attendants, they all went in the back for whatever reason. that was before the captain said anything. I was like, ‘Huh, that’s kind of odd.’”

The passenger said an ambulance was there to meet the plane when it landed, and a passenger was rushed off before the rest of the passengers were deplaned.

The passengers were given food vouchers, but since everything in the airport had already closed, the pilot took matters into his own hands and ordered pizza.

30 pizzas for the 150 passengers showed up at the gate, everyone was "completely shocked."

One passenger took to TikTok saying, “Our pilot is absolutely amazing. He felt so bad for the situation that he ordered 30 pizzas from a local pizza shop and had it delivered right to our gate and (then) made sure all 150 passengers ate before he made himself a plate.”
