How to Help L.A. Wildfire Victims from The Hudson Valley

Thousands of acres and buildings have burned and millions are without power. So many people have lost their homes and the blaze has yet to be contained. But there is something you can do, even from afar. You can donate. Resources for those battling these fires are crucial to their efforts.

Donate to the American Red Cross at RedCross.org. They're providing shelter to those who had to be evacuated.

The World Central Kitchen is providing food to victims and first responders. You can donate at WCK.org.

The California Fire Foundation gives financial support to those impacted by the fires.  Learn more at CAFireFoundation.org.

The California Community Foundation helps victims of wildfires in L.A. County. You can join their cause and contribute to the Wildfire Recovery Fund at CalFund.org.

You can also donate to the ASPCA in Los Angeles at aspca.org to help them care for the many animals that have been displaced.

Natural disasters such as these are what bind us as a community and as Americans because something similar could happen to any one of us at any time.
