Hi, it's Kacey - with a great big Thank You to Clarkstown for the wonderful welcome and fabulous festival last night - out on the lawn at Felix Festa School. 

I am a huge fan of Gilmore Girls and Virgin River. Above all, I love the community gatherings on those shows - when everyone heads into town for a an event.   It's in our American DNA, I think, to love that "small town" vibe.  Bubbles and fireflies in the air. Kids running around and playing with balls.  Family picnics.  Last night had all of that and so much more.

Clarkstown created life long memories for families and there's nothing better than that!

Supervisor George Hoehmann is an amazing host. He made sure to introduce me to every local official there - and quite a few wonderful residents as well!  From the Police Chief the the Director Recreation Department - and everyone in between - the town's officials showed up to celebrate and support their community.  

I met Jennifer from Congers - a Hi Lo Fan - and The Tolan's too - always staples at the WHUD Valentine Dance.  

Thanks to all who came over to sat HI or play cornhole with the Family Fun Crew. It was a great night out to celebrate the 4th.

We have SO much to be grateful for in this beautiful country. Clarkstown knows it...and knows how to celebrate it too!
