It's a new year. And with a new year comes the anticipation of several tropical storms. Whether or not they develop into hurricanes remains to be seen, but one thing is certain...their names.
The National Hurricane Center has just released its list of the names they've chosen for coastal Atlantic tropical storms/hurricanes in 2025. For now there are 21 but the list could grow if it turns out to be a bad season. Hopefully, if you find one below named after YOU that you aren't forever associated with destruction! Who wants THAT on their conscience?
(By the way, in case you're wondering who comes up with the names for tropical storms and hurricanes, that would be the United Nations World Meteorological Organization.)
Although I do suffer from fear of missing out, I'm glad to see there will be no Hurricane Heather this year. Are you as lucky? Take a look.
