Warmer weather is just around the corner and The Town of Cortlandt is staffing up for fun visits to Charles J. Cook Pool!

If you're looking for a seasonal gig and love the sun and the water, this could be just the opportunity for you.

Lifeguard tryouts are scheduled to be held in early May and all applicants must be 15 years of age or older with valid Lifeguard/First Aid, CPR for the Professional Rescuer and AED Certifications. There are a limited number of positions available, according to The Town of Cortlandt Government official Facebook page.

The scouting process sounds a little competitive and job openings will be filled on a first come, first serve basis but if you succeed the starting compensation is $14/hour. Not bad for spending the summer hanging out by the pool.
