Apparently New York Doesn't Suffer Fools on April 1st

Ah, the first day of April. April Fools’ Day. The day pranksters across the country anticipate for the tricks, the laughs, and (hopefully) a minimal amount of embarrassment. Some pull of pranks on friends, family, and coworkers that are harmless while others take their game to new, inventive, elaborate heights.

Well, not here in New York. Apparently we couldn't care less about April Fool's Day. Why? Well, let me shed some light on some recent research on the states that research pranks the most.

The team at McLuck, a gaming site, reportedly analyzed over 2,000 prank-related Google searches during the last week of March to find out which regions of the country are most invested in April 1st scheming.

While New Jersey came up as the state with the most interest in April Fool's Day, New York ranks 29th in the U.S. with 2,189 prank searches per every 100,000 people. The Empire State just doesn't put much thought into it.

Neither could Mississippi. That state came in dead last for caring about April Fool's Day.

What are the most-searched for pranks? Office-related jokes and stunts as well as popular jump-scares.
