I know The Hudson Valley is beyond rich in history, but I didn't know about all the amazing things that were invented here, many of which I'm so grateful for (could you imagine a life without TP?). I kind of have an excuse, having just moved to the area a few months ago, but I'm betting a few of you out there will be today-years-old when you check out the list below of items whose origin stories begin right here. One or two may have been improved upon by clever people from The HV, according to Hudson Valley Magazine, but that's nearly as good as an invention itself if the improvements take the item to the level that it revolutionizes an industry and reaches the masses.
